Cardiff Fashion Week official stylist Wenda James Rowe is teaming up this summer with Welsh cancer charity Tenovus to find the capital’s most stylish charity shop fashionista!
Style consultant Wenda is a leading fashion expert in the city, advising clients on how to get the best from their wardrobes and budgets. Her mission in the run up to Cardiff Fashion Week this October will be to find budding fashion designers and charity shop enthusiasts to create an outfit fit for a runway.
Wenda explains, “Everyone loves a bargain and charity shops are a fantastic hunting ground for that special item of clothing or accessory.
“We are looking for fashinistas with enough creative flair to pull together an outfit worthy of the Cardiff Fashion Week catwalk show finale.”
Anyone wishing to take part should take a photograph of their outfit and email is to us at email@example.com, together with their name, address and telephone number. Deadline for entries is 30th September 2013.
Entry is open to everyone, but the outfit must have been purchased from a charity shop. Wenda will notify the winner who must make the outfit available for the Cardiff Fashion Week Catwalk Show at the Hilton Hotel on 19th October 2013.
As the official Cardiff Fashion Week charity, Tenovus is also holding a prize draw to win tickets to the catwalk shows. Anyone donating a bag of clothes to a Tenovus shop will receive free entry to the draw. They have five stores in central Cardiff as well as shops in Barry, Cowbridge, Penarth and Caerphilly
